Time

Well, tomorrow is the day I leave for vacation! We'll drive halfway to Fla tomorrow and then finish up on Sun. On Mon, we board that boat for the cruise to the Bahamas! We'll get back to port on Fri and go close down Disney and then I fly back on Sat. This trip contains firsts for me - first cruise, first trip out of the country, first time to Disney, and first plane ride! Whew! I think I need to go lie down now thinking about all those firsts. :)

In memory of Tim

Timothy Bryan Nootbaar (March 14, 1988- June 14, 2006) was killed in a car accident just 1 month after graduation. This picture shows him (left) and his best friend, Andrew, on graduation day. One bit of good news, we know where Tim is as he was a Christian. And as Andrew said today, it was God's will that this happen. We don't know why but He knows and that's all that matters!

Tricks

Bully is doing 1 of his tricks - drinking water from a water bottle. His owner/trainer, Lisa, says its easier to make sure he gets enough water to drink if she gives it to him from the water bottle rather then have to lug a water bowl around everywhere they go. Go Bully!

Bully is hard at work in the genealogy room of the Starkville Public Library. He was visiting the kids for summer reading program today and decided to help answer some genealogy questions! :)

A Bully of a day

MSU mascot, Tonka aka Bully visited the Starkville Public Library today as part of the summer reading program. The kids heard about a day in the life of our favorite bulldog as well as got a chance to pet him. Obviously, I did as well! :) GO DAWGS!!!

Very little country town

Was going to Artesia, Ms recently and I have to drive thru Crawford, Ms (both places are barely big enough to call a town), when lo and behold I discover that Crawford has installed speed bumps! Yes, you read that right, speed bumps! I can't imagine a town as small as Crawford (pop. 650) having so much traffic that they have to fork out the money for speed bumps! Gotta be kidding me!!

Gatorade sports camp MSU

Here's a pic (taken with phone camera, not very clear) of our Gatorade table inside the Palmeiro Center - Ms. State University. I've worked 2 football camps now and this is the set-up from today's camp.
