Kroger's MyMagazine Sharing program has struck gold again! This shipment contained #freesamples of Walnuts and Pumpkin. I used the Pumpkin to make pumpkin muffins - yum! The Walnuts have gone into some Chrstimas cookies called Galaxy Cookies. These cookies have a surprise in the center (nuts, cherries, chocolates...). I failed to get a picture of my pumpkin muffins but trust me, YUM!!!
Here's a pic of some of the Galaxy Cookies.
I've survived yet another knee surgery - this one to remove a lot of thick scar tissue after last year's knee replacement. Not bad, very little pain at all! I don't have to do PT if I choose not to but I will do so as I still have pain from the nerve that was cut last year.
Man this free sample from Kroger MyMagazineSharing was awesome! Took it to a small party with friends and they loved it. Mixture of nuts and crackers spiced with sea salt - perfect goodness!
Who doesn't love #freesamples #GoKrogering
Y'all have to check out Kroger's MyMagazine Sharing Network - you get free samples in each project you sign up for and participate in. This is a great way to discover new things at Kroger. This current project is snack foods and I received a pack of Kroger cookies and Kroger Gummies free as well as coupons for other items. Love this stuff! I tried out a concoction of jello and gummies for a gummie surprise and it wasn't half bad! Check it out... Next I plan to try one of the suggested mixes: gummies and trail mix and pretzels - sounds good! Visit MyMagazineSharing and join today! #freesamp #MyMagazineSharing
I gave the Fish Taco Bites a try as I've never had any and well, it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm sure they are good, they look good but I just didn't care for the taste. Maybe if I'd tried them mixed with something like a salad vs just plain with some tartar sauce. Since I didn't create anything specific with it, it was easy to fix and eat within a few minutes. I enjoy being able to try new things thru Kroger's My Magazine program, where we get coupons to try new things and have coupons to share with others to try as well. I've joined a community on Kroger for trying new things and sharing about them. I recently received a package of coupons for Fresh Ideas from the Freezer. I've tried all of the free products and most of them I liked (especially the Eggo Waffles) but there's a couple that I totally didn't care for. I got a coupon for Stouffer's Fit Kitchen Bowls and decided to give the Sweet and Spicy Meatballs a try. I usually like meatballs of any variety but this was a big MISS for me. I just couldn't finish eating it and dumped most of it out. The flavor to me was just awful. Another product that I got to try free was SmartMade by Smart Ones. Now, I've had a couple of products in this line before but hadn't tried the Grilled Peppercorn Beef & Vegetables. Again, YUCK! This was another day that I went without lunch. I know these are supposed to be healthier choices but come on, there's lots of healthy options that taste good, so these 2 items really dropped the ball on this. I did try and enjoy the Wicked Kitchen Mac and Cheese - loved the spices they had in it to give it just a bit of oompf! This is one product that I'll probably purchase again!
I've joined a community on Kroger for trying new things and sharing about them. I recently received a box of free samples and coupons for free organic food. There were 3 bags of chips in the box and several coupons. My favorite has to be the organic Tostitos chips. I also bought organic Tostitos salsa and oh yes!, I can't tell much difference. I tried Horizon organic chocolate milk but that's definitely not for me! Let's just say I won't be drinking any more of it. Sweet Leaf organic tea is really good - I've had that several times but got a free bottle coupon in my box and I got the Lemonade Tea. I also got a free jar of peanut powder chocolate - not sure what to use it for yet but took a taste of it and it's not bad at all!
The Friends of Noxubee Refuge have a live camera set-up in the Rookery area. It doesn't stream 24/7 but if you subscribe, you'll get notified when it is live. It'll be interesting to watch the nesting birds in a couple months! Here is a short video of ducks feeding - they were right under the camera, thus the closeness of the images.
