Cotton District Arts Festival

This coming week-end (22nd) is the annual Cotton District Arts Festival here in Starkville. Oh, and at 12:30 in front of BullDog Deli, the Starkville Martial Arts Academy will be hosting a demo. If any of you are around and looking for something to do, come check it out. There will be lots of food and fun to be had by all. Ya'll Magazine is sponsoring a sweet-tea competition - that ought to be interesting. And the festivities are going to be filmed for a national travel show to be featured at a later time!

A weekend in Birmingham

This past week-end was spent in Birmingham, Alabama visiting my brother and his wife and daughter. I also got to visit an old college buddy and roomie from Southern Ms. Today we visited the Botanical Gardens and I've loaded my pictures from the trip. Isn't Naomi cute??? :)
